1. Personal Care

• Assisting with bathing, grooming, and hygiene
• Helping with dressing and toileting
• Monitoring and assisting with mobility (e.g., walking, transferring to/from bed or wheelchair)

2. Health Monitoring

• Checking vital signs (e.g., blood pressure, temperature, pulse)
• Administering medications as prescribed (if trained)
• Reporting any changes in health or behavior to family or healthcare professionals

3. Nutrition and Feeding

• Preparing and serving meals according to dietary requirements
• Assisting with feeding when necessary
• Ensuring proper hydration

4. Household Management

• Light housekeeping (cleaning the client’s area, laundry)
• Running errands (e.g., grocery shopping, paying bills)
• Organizing medication schedules and medical appointments

5. Companionship and Emotional Support

• Providing conversation and social interaction
• Engaging in recreational activities suited to the client’s abilities
• Offering emotional reassurance and support

• Completion of a Caregiving NC II certification from TESDA
• Basic life support (BLS) and first aid training
• Good physical and emotional stamina
• Patience, empathy, and trustworthiness
