About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Steel Detailer Checker to join our team. In this role, you will ensure the accuracy and compliance of steel detailing projects by reviewing drawings, models, and specifications against industry standards and client requirements. This is a remote position with collaboration across global teams, including our India-based colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and check drawings and models to ensure alignment with contract documents.
• Verify compliance with AISC standards, customer-specific requirements, and codes (IBC, ADA, OSHA).
• Collaborate with detailing teams to maintain quality and accuracy in project deliverables.
• Uphold deadlines and adapt to fast-paced project demands.

Non-Negotiables:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience as a Steel Detailer Checker in Engineering/Construction.
• Proficiency in reviewing models and ensuring adherence to technical standards.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with SDS2 or Tekla software (not required but a plus).
• Strong communication skills in English (negotiation and collaboration).
• Leadership experience (scope to be determined).
