Job Descriptions:
Prepare, file and pay accurate tax returns (AFS/ITR VAT, GST, withholding tax-Compensation, EWT, FWT, etc.) within statutory deadlines-(monthly/quarterly/annually) - -- Submissions of BIR reports-(Alphalist Income, EWT, FWT, VAT Sales & Purchases Releif) quarterly/annually
Knowledge in Billing checking & preparations for vendors & clients-(tax computations) - - - Familiar with all BIR Forms issuances Knowledge of BIR offline/online EFPS-(Electronic - - - Filing & Payment Systems) Knowledge in submissions of report BIR-eAFS & SEC Review financial records and transactions to determine tax liabilities.
Ensure compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.
Assist with tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities.Maintain proper documentation and records to support tax filings.
Conduct periodic internal reviews to identify areas of tax risk.Provide support in the development of tax-efficient strategies.
Stay updated with changes in tax laws and assess their impact.Collaborate with Sr. Finance Supervisor, legal, and external consultants when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Overseeing the preparation of federal, state, local, and international tax returns.
Developing tax strategies to optimize tax obligations and ensure compliance with tax laws
Analyzing and reviewing financial data to identify tax savings and minimization opportunities
Conducting research on tax laws and regulations, keeping abreast of changes and developments
Collaborating with internal and external auditors during financial and tax audits
Managing and coordinating tax provision and tax compliance process
Advising management and related stakeholders on the impact of new laws on tax liabilities
Developing and implementing best practices for tax processes and procedures
Preparing and presenting detailed reports on the company’s tax situation for senior management
المتطلبات
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field.
Minimum 3-5 years relevant experience in tax compliance or advisory Strong understanding of tax laws and regulatory frameworks.
3 years of auditor experience in top 30 firms is a plus Graduating from the top 50 universities is a plus
CPA is a plus
Proficiency in tax software and MS Excel.
Attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
Proven work experience as a tax officerExcellent knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance and all types of tax returns
Good at meeting deadlines and solving problems
Exceptional client service along with the ability to develop excellent client relationships
