What You’ll Do:

The Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role will contribute to development and documentation of accounting policies while actively participating in audits, both internal and external, by offering essential information.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Record, verify, consolidate, and enter financial transactions to ensure accurate accounting records.
  • Analyze account data and prepare journal entries for assets, liabilities, revenue, and expenses.
  • Reconcile and maintain subsidiary accounts, resolving discrepancies as needed.
  • Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets and profit & loss statements, to reflect the organization’s financial position.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and support related reporting requirements.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining accounting policies and procedures.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
  • Perform special projects and tasks aligned with the organization’s financial objectives.


Qualifications:

  • Experienced in financial reporting requirements.
  • Able to meet deadlines and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong conceptual and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze and interpret data and apply mathematical concepts to solve complex problems.
  • Capable of working both independently and collaboratively as a team member.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Can communicate effectively in English, with occasional difficulty expressing complex ideas clearly.
  • Able to understand current procedures and identify opportunities for process and documentation improvements.
  • Proficient in utilizing ERP systems to maximize daily processing output.
  • Clear and coherent in both written and verbal communication; able to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; works well with others and values teamwork in achieving company goals.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for efficient and complex data analysis.
