What is this role about?
The Construction Engineer – Specialist is responsible for managing the construction, renovation, and maintenance of fuel infrastructure facilities, including fuel terminals, lubes plants and warehouses, LPG import and refilling stations, and jetty operations. The role involves overseeing day-to-day site activities, ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and technical standards, coordinating with stakeholders, managing resources, and delivering projects within defined timelines and budgets. The Construction Engineer – Specialist translates technical plans into executable work scopes, resolves on-site challenges, and maintains comprehensive documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
What will YOU do?
Lead the end-to-end execution of construction, renovation, and maintenance projects for gasoline refilling stations and related infrastructures (including electrification, MRS, and NFR components), ensuring adherence to approved scope, quality, budget, and timelines
Prepare comprehensive project estimates including materials, labor, and equipment, to support the efficient execution of infrastructure works
Supervise daily site activities and ensure compliance with safety regulations, engineering standards, and environmental guidelines during construction and renovation works
Conduct regular site inspections and quality audits to verify adherence to technical specifications, construction plans, and regulatory requirements
Develop and submit project documentation, including progress reports, evaluations, and asset handover packages in alignment with corporate and regulatory standards
Identify project risks and constraints early, troubleshoot technical or logistical issues, and implement effective mitigation measures to avoid delays or cost overruns
Coordinate closely with cross-functional teams, third-party contractors, vendors, and regulatory authorities to ensure smooth, timely, and compliant project execution
Manage procurement requests and monitor supply chain needs for construction materials, tools, and spare parts related to fuel infrastructure development and upkeep
Translate engineering drawings and specifications into actionable job scopes and provide technical guidance to contractors and internal teams during implementation
Resolve field-level concerns promptly and escalate critical project or personnel issues to the Project Management Supervisor, ensuring business continuity and operational safety
What will YOU need?
Licensed Engineer - at least 5 years of employment experience within the same capacity
