Description
- Provide individual and group counseling to students on academic, personal, and career development.
- Develop and implement programs to address student needs and promote mental well-being.
- Collaborate with faculty and parents to support student success.
- Manage student records and maintain confidentiality.
- Conduct assessments and develop intervention strategies.
- Stay updated on educational trends and best practices in counseling.
Requirements
- Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in counseling, psychology, or related field.
- Experience Level: 1 year of experience in a counseling role, preferably in an educational setting.
- Skills and Competencies: Strong communication, active listening, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Responsibilities and Duties: Provide guidance to students, develop intervention plans, and collaborate with faculty and parents.
- Working Conditions: Office setting within a school environment, with periodic meetings and workshops.
- Qualities and Traits: Empathetic, patient, culturally competent, and skilled at building trust.
