Background of Recruitment

Since 2018, we've grown our team significantly, thanks to great feedback from our clients. So far, we’ve focused on hiring for technical roles, which means our engineering division is currently led by managers with strong tech management skills, though their experience outside of IT projects is more limited.

As we look to expand further, we’re on the hunt for a leader with solid experience in organizational management and a background in software development. This person will oversee the entire engineering division while also having a good grasp of general software engineering concepts.

Job Description

Strategy and Leadership

- Responsible for all Engineering division activities.

- Set division objectives, monitor progress, and ensure alignment between engineering activities and the company's strategic goals.

- Develop appropriate organizational structure, resource plans, and culture.

- Define and implement technical strategies and roadmaps, ensuring alignment with the company's objectives.

People Management

- Foster a culture of excellence, mentorship, and collaboration through strong leadership.

- Design career paths and job descriptions.

- Manage recruitment to evaluation process with HR section.

- Formulate and decide policies related to organization operations and member wellbeing.

Engineering

- Manage engineering resources to strategically assign projects, balancing growth and needs.

- Lead the planning, design, and implementation of internal training programs.

- Establishing metrics and monitoring systems to track performance, productivity, and customer satisfaction.

• At least 5 years of experience as a section or division manager with more than 10 members
• At least 10 years of experience in Web software engineering industry
• Degree holder in a relevant field, such as computer science or management
• Professional experience in either AWS, GCP or Azure
• Professional experience in any modern web application framework

Japanese language skill

- Business level Japanese communication skill.

- N1/N2 JLPT certificafions.

Software architect skill

- Experience with large-scale system architecture design.

Business management skill

- Experience in a top management role within the same industry, such as CXO position.

Set Up

• Full-time
• Hybrid, up to 2 office days per week, CBP Cebu
• Monday to Friday, semi-flexible (core work hours: 10 AM - 4 PM)
• Fixed weekends off
