Description

  • Supervision and Coordination:
  • Oversee the daily activities of housekeeping staff, including Room Attendants and House Attendants, ensuring all assigned tasks are completed efficiently and to the required standards. 
  • Quality Control:
  • Inspect guest rooms, corridors, and public areas to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards. 
  • Training and Development:
  • Provide on-the-job training, mentoring, and coaching for team members, ensuring they are proficient in cleaning procedures and equipment operation. 
  • Guest Relations:
  • Respond to guest inquiries, handle complaints, and ensure a positive guest experience. 
  • Inventory and Supply Management:
  • Monitor and maintain stock levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring there are adequate resources for the team. 
  • Communication and Reporting:
  • Communicate with the housekeeping manager, other departments, and guests, and report any issues or concerns. 
  • Team Leadership:
  • Motivate team members, resolve issues, and foster a positive work environment. 
  • Safety and Security:
  • Ensure adherence to safety and hygiene policies and procedures. 

Additional Duties:

  • Scheduling and Staffing:
  • Assist with scheduling shifts, managing absences, and potentially with hiring and performance evaluations. 
  • Coordination with Other Departments:
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering and front office, to address maintenance requests and guest services. 
  • Participate in Cleaning Projects:
  • Participate in large-scale cleaning projects, such as deep cleaning or renovations. 
  • Maintain Cleanliness Standards:
  • Ensure all areas, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities, meet the required cleanliness and hygiene standards. 

Requirements

  • Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience Level: 1-3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Skills and Competencies: Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills; proficiency in relevant software.
  • Working Conditions: Office environment with standard working hours; potential for remote work.
