Description

PURPOSE: Maintains the cleanliness of CIBO’s Kitchen, strictly complying with CIBO standards, and ensuring its viability through the achievement of set targets and objectives.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Follows strategies that ensure achievement of targets/objectives.
  • Complies with restaurant hygiene and maintains kitchen ambiance.
  • Follows procedural standards (Inventory, Requisition, Production, Storage, FIFO, etc.) and assists in efficient control of material cost.
  • Follows new systems and procedures to achieve smooth workflow within the Kitchen Area.
  • Prepares the accurate station reports and submit to Store Quality Controller on time.
  • Handles restaurant wares and equipment properly.
  • Provides excellent service by keeping all dishes clean and spotless
  • Stores all wares and equipment properly
  • Checks quality of all wares and equipment
  • Prepares the dishwashing area by assembling all needed materials such as detergents, solvents, etc.
  • Follows standard cleaning procedures. Sorts out dishes by separating the glass wares from flat wares and silverwares to avoid breakages
  • Avoids breakages by ensuring that all dishes and other breakables are properly piled up before, during and after the cleaning process
  • Conducts general cleaning of the kitchen area at least three (3) times a week including the racks, floors and walls
  • Cleans the kitchen and his own working area
  • Conducts daily inventory of equipment and materials assigned to his area and submit to Quality Controller on time.
  • Distributes plates to specific stations
  • Assists Cooks in product preparation when needed
  • Follows the company’s code of conduct.
  • Perform any other task to be given from time to time.

Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION: At least a High School Graduate

EXPERIENCE: One (1) year experience as a Steward is an advantage

SKILLS:

  • Detail oriented
  • Patient, honest and trustworthy
  • Willing to be assigned in any CIBO outlet.
  • Average written and verbal communication skills
  • Friendly and personable

SUPERVISION: Standard; attention to detail required.
