About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Oracle EPM AMS Lead to provide ongoing support and optimization for Oracle EPM Cloud applications, with a focus on Planning and Budgeting (PBCS) and/or Account Reconciliation (ARCS). This role requires a deep understanding of EPM configurations, integrations, reporting, and process automation, ensuring that clients maximize the value of their Oracle EPM investment.
Key Responsibilities
Application Managed Services (AMS) & Technical Support
- Provide end-to-end AMS support for Oracle EPM Planning and Budgeting (PBCS) and/or Account Reconciliation (ARCS), ensuring high system availability and performance.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve functional and technical issues, minimizing business disruption.
- Manage system configurations, security settings, and workflow adjustments based on client needs.
- Ensure smooth monthly and annual financial cycles, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues.
- Work closely with finance and business users to support forecasting, budgeting, and reconciliation processes.
Enhancements & Continuous Improvement
- Lead and drive EPM enhancements, including process automation, integrations, and reporting improvements.
- Configure business rules, calculation scripts, and data forms to optimize system performance.
- Develop and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and Smart View templates for better insights.
- Work with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements and deliver best practices.
- Stay updated with Oracle’s EPM roadmap and recommend enhancements to leverage new functionalities.
Integration & Reporting
- Support data integrations between Oracle EPM and ERP systems, ensuring seamless data flow.
- Develop and optimize Financial Reports (FR), BI Publisher, and Smart View reporting solutions.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity across planning, budgeting, and reconciliation processes.
Collaboration & Client Engagement
- Act as a trusted advisor for clients, understanding their business challenges and recommending solutions.
- Work closely with AMS teams, finance leaders, and IT teams to align EPM solutions with business objectives.
- Provide training and knowledge transfer to end users to enhance adoption and self-sufficiency.
Key Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in Oracle EPM Cloud AMS, with expertise in Planning and Budgeting (PBCS) and/or Account Reconciliation (ARCS).
- Strong understanding of financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and reconciliation processes.
- Hands-on experience in EPM configurations, business rules, calculation scripts, and workflow management.
- Experience troubleshooting technical and functional issues in an AMS environment.
- Knowledge of data integrations between EPM and ERP, using tools like Data Management (DM) or Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
- Expertise in Smart View, Financial Reports (FR), BI Publisher, and Excel-based reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to issue resolution.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with business users, finance teams, and IT stakeholders.
- Experience in an AMS or managed services environment is preferred.
- Oracle EPM certifications are a plus.
