About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Oracle ERP AMS Lead to provide ongoing support, maintenance, and optimization for Oracle ERP Cloud applications. The role requires expertise in multiple functional areas of Oracle ERP, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work closely with business users to enhance system capabilities and improve operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Application Managed Services (AMS) & Functional Support
- Provide day-to-day AMS support for Oracle ERP modules, including: Financials (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM)
- Procurement (Procurement, Supplier Management, Sourcing, Contracts)
- Supply Chain (Inventory, Order Management, Procurement, Costing)
- Projects (Project Costing, Project Billing, Project Contracts, Grants Management)
- Troubleshoot and resolve functional and technical issues, ensuring minimal business disruption.
- Manage system configurations, security roles, and approval workflows to align with business needs.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close activities, ensuring smooth financial reporting cycles.
- Work with users to improve procurement, project, and supply chain processes, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
Enhancements & Continuous Improvement
- Lead system enhancements, configurations, and updates to improve ERP functionality.
- Work with finance, procurement, project management, and supply chain teams to identify process gaps and implement best practices.
- Stay up to date with Oracle’s ERP roadmap and recommend new features and automation opportunities.
- Configure and maintain reporting tools, dashboards, and analytics to support business decision-making.
Integration & Reporting
- Support data integrations between Oracle ERP and other enterprise systems, ensuring seamless data flow.
- Develop and optimize Oracle BI Reports, OTBI, and FRS reports to improve financial, project, and operational visibility.
- Ensure data accuracy and reconciliation across ERP modules.
Collaboration & Client Engagement
- Act as a trusted advisor for clients, providing expertise on Oracle ERP best practices.
- Work closely with business users, finance teams, procurement leads, project managers, and IT teams to enhance ERP usage.
- Provide training and knowledge transfer to end users to drive adoption and self-sufficiency.
- Ensure timely communication and issue resolution, maintaining high customer satisfaction.
Key Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in Oracle ERP Cloud AMS, supporting Finance, Procurement, Projects, or Supply Chain modules.
- Strong understanding of finance operations, procurement cycles, project costing, and supply chain processes.
- Hands-on experience in ERP configurations, approval workflows, and reporting tools.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex functional and technical issues in an AMS environment.
- Knowledge of integrations between Oracle ERP and external systems, using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) or other middleware.
- Experience with Oracle BI Reports, OTBI, Smart View, and FRS for financial, project, and operational reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to issue resolution.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in a managed services or AMS environment is preferred.
- Oracle ERP certifications are a plus.
