Description

1.   Be able to research potential suppliers for project engineering requirements

2.   Be able to negotiate with suppliers to come up with the most economical offer

3.   Be able to participate well in the whole purchase cycle (e.g., purchase requisition, PO creation, payment, counterchecking of delivered goods/materials per PO, follow-up on documentation)

4.   Updating and maintaining records of all orders, payments, and received materials

5.   Coordinating with the supplier and following up on delays or orders that have been rescheduled

6.   Establish professional relationships with partner suppliers and develop reasonable terms of payment. (Deposit, Pickup Check, Terms of Payment – 30%, 50%, 80%, 100%)

7.   Track payables and coordinate with Accounting and Finance Department

8.   Monitor purchase orders issued and to closely monitor its related payments

9.   Attach related/applicable documents (e.g., billing invoice, sales invoice, collection receipt, delivery receipt, official receipt) to purchase orders issued

10. Shall be willing to take on other scope of work

11. Collaborate with the Warehouse Officer to assess, procure, and oversee the repair of essential tools and equipment. (Logbook Monitoring for tool maintenance)

12. Develop and manage a comprehensive schedule for truck deployments, (Truck Schedule) maintenance, and repairs to ensure operational efficiency and fleet reliability. (Logging Checklist per truck & Monitoring of maintenance)


Requirements

  • Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Experience Level: 1-3 years of experience in purchasing or project coordination.
  • Skills and Competencies: Expertise in purchasing, inventory management, excellent communication, negotiation tactics, decision-making, and problem-solving.
  • Responsibilities and Duties: Manage procurement processes, maintain inventory levels, negotiate contracts, and coordinate with vendors.
  • Working Conditions: Typically office-based, with potential for occasional travel to suppliers.
  • Qualities and Traits: Strong work ethic, attention to detail, proactive, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
