Client Summary:

Our client is an Australian FinTech company that provides a platform for business credit cards and spend management. In essence, they offer a modern alternative to traditional corporate cards, designed to simplify spending for businesses, save time and money on financial administration, and give businesses greater control and visibility over their expenses. Their key services include providing Mastercard-powered credit cards to businesses, which can be issued to employees, and a spend management platform that allows businesses to track spending in real-time, capture receipts, categorize expenses, and automate reconciliation with accounting software. Our client also enables employees to use a mobile app to upload receipts and add notes, streamlining the expense reporting process.

Notably, our client does not charge any foreign transaction fee mark-ups and integrates with popular accounting software like Xero and SAP Concur. Additionally, our client provides controls and oversight features, allowing businesses to set spending limits, and lock or freeze cards. Our client’s users can also earn Velocity Points on eligible spending.


Role:

Seeking a passionate Sales Development Representative (SDR). This role is perfect for someone looking to grow their career with first-hand experience at a dynamic, fast growing company. The sense of impact will be massive, and we will support you to make sure this is a highly rewarding role.

targets and challenges.


Responsibilities:


  • Identify companies that would value from using the client’s platform
  • Passionately articulate the client’s value proposition in new verticals;
  • Work to uncover business needs, understand pains, and position the client’s
  • go-to solution if there’s a strong fit.;
  • Nurture prospects through to a fully qualified lead;
  • Maintain and update an accurate log of activity in our CRM system;
  • Use email & phone to correspond with leads to follow up and/or to confirm
  • appointments;
  • Uncover and define the best growth opportunities for the client, including new customers, new verticals and new sales strategies;
  • Manage inbound leads as the first point of contact for many new and growing
  • businesses interested in the client; and
  • Work closely with business and product leaders across the company to help accelerate the growth of the client


Requirements


  • Entrepreneurial mind-set with a hunger to succeed;
  • Persistence and objection handling skills;
  • Experience using a CRM, such as Hubspot, working in a start-up or FinTech company
  • are all beneficial but not required;
  • Keen interest in FinTech/ understanding of our space;
  • 1+ years of experience in a phone sales role OR a driven and eager-to-learn new grad
  • who thrives in fast paced, constantly-changing environments
  • The ability to proactively engage new clients through email and phone
