The IT Centralized Services Engineer will become a subject matter expert for all our internal tools. The  

IT Centralized Services Engineer will work with the Managed Services team to identify high-impact, recurring issues facing our clients and implement best practices using automation & RMM to reduce the amount of time these issues take to resolve (OR prevent the issue in the first place). 

The IT Centralized Services Engineer has ultimate responsibility for the deployment, maintenance, and continued operation of the tools the Helpdesk uses to manage and support the client base. 

Maintenance of existing core internal tools:

• RMM, Backup platform, other platforms such as ConnectWise and Crewhu, etc...
• This can be done in conjunction with the NOC team, to roll out patches, fixes and updates across out clients. 
• Run regular audits on customer environments to ensure tools are properly set up, secured and operational, and highlight deficiencies where they exist. 
• Continuous Process & Tools improvement :
• improve the configuration and utilization of our existing core software tools by looking at opportunities to leverage capabilities of the tools.
• Conduct research and evaluate new technologies that can improve service delivery and efficiency of the internal team
• You are responsible to provide training to employees on the process and use of internal tools.

Proactive Services:

• ​​​​​​​Patch systems by updating software packages.  
• Perform automation tasks such as automating computer setups, small office moves, upgrading software and systems, etc.  
• Assist with administering and managing the backup solutions that the company provides to its clients.
• Assist with maintaining and updating the API integrations used to connect its internal tools with the external vendors. The API integrations can enable the MSP to automate workflows, exchange data, and access features across different platforms and services. 

Document and information repository:

• ​​​​​​​Create and maintain technical documentation to ensure team members stay up to date on best practices.  
• Ensure that all documentation located in the central repository stays up to date.  
• Notify the team of any updates or changes made to that client’s location.

Relevant Certifications:

• cloud computing, network administration, or cybersecurity, such as AWS, Azure, Cisco, CompTIA, or CISSP. ​​​​​​​
• ​​​​​​​5+ years experience in IT field
• At least 2 years of experience working within an MSP environment.

Skills Requirement:

• Strong experience with MS applications and technologies: Azure, M365 including Intune and Autopilot
• Expert Knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy (due to creating scripts and automation). 
• Skilled in RMM tools, particularly Datto RMM, with experience in PSA systems like Autotask. 
• Adept with PowerShell & Scripting
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project.
