School housekeeping staff are responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy learning environment for students, teachers, and visitors. They ensure that classrooms, restrooms, offices, and common areas are kept sanitary and orderly to support the daily operations of the school.

• Clean and sanitize classrooms, offices, restrooms, hallways, and other school facilities according to established cleaning schedules
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors as needed
• Empty trash cans and properly dispose of waste
• Replenish supplies such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels
• Clean windows, doors, and walls as required
• Ensure restrooms are stocked and maintained in hygienic condition
• Report maintenance issues (e.g., broken fixtures, lights) to supervisors
• Set up or move furniture for school events or classroom activities
• Follow safety guidelines and proper handling of cleaning chemicals
• Cooperate with school staff to minimize disruption during classes
• Perform other related cleaning and housekeeping duties as assigned

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior custodial or housekeeping experience, especially in schools or public facilities, is an advantage
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Knowledge of basic cleaning methods, materials, and equipment
• Good physical condition; ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods
• Attention to detail and reliability
• Ability to work cooperatively with teachers, staff, and students
