Job Description
The Claims Analyst is responsible for assisting the onshore claims team with claims administrative duties. The candidate will be responsible for reviewing claim notification reports, organizing them and processing them into the Company’s systems in accordance with the policies and procedures of Arch Re. The candidate will provide support and be part of the Arch Re Co Claims team.
- Assist with daily inbox monitoring to ensure all incoming claim submissions are assigned appropriately.
- Maintain documentation in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures.
- Understand Arch Re’s business and reinsurance programs, including all relevant informational workflows.
- Assist with miscellaneous claims related ad hoc projects as needed.
- Ongoing learning and development related to reinsurance concepts and internal procedures

- Analyze all claim notifications and determine if the loss is new or previously reported.
- Download emails into the Laserfiche claims system.
- Be fluent in Excel, Word and other business computer programs.
- Be able to process claim reports into the Regis claims system.
- Ability to write emails to clients/brokers for acknowledgement and follow ups of claim information.
- Quarterly review of claims balances in aged receivable reports.
- Liaise with Underwriters and Brokers as required.
- Maintain a diary for follow up reporting of claims.

- 1-3 years relevant reinsurance property and casualty claims experience
