Description
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date financial records by recording daily transactions, preparing journal entries, and reconciling accounts to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
- Prepares and submits BIR Compliance, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.
- This includes computing taxes, filing VAT and other statutory requirements, and keeping track of deadlines to avoid penalties.
- Prepare documents for SEC Compliance
- Ensures proper documentation and organization of accounting records, including invoices, receipts, and other financial documents, for easy retrieval and audit purposes.
- Verifies that recorded transactions match bank statements, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
- Ensures all financial transactions adhere to accounting principles, tax laws, and company policies. Keeps updated on changes in regulations to maintain compliance.
- Prepares basic financial statements, summaries, and schedules that may be needed for management review or audit purposes.
- Assists in both internal and external audits by providing necessary financial documents and explanations as required.
- Other tasks to be assigned by the management.
Requirements
- Graduate of BS Accountancy, Business Administration, or any related field.
- Having at least 1 year of experience as General Accountant is an advantage.
- Knowledge in tax compliance and book keeping.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Docs and Excel) and Google Drive.
- Can start immediately.
