Description

As APAC Payroll Team Lead at PwC, you will lead and coordinate a team of people who support the accurate and timely processing of payroll for employees across multiple jurisdictions in the APAC region. You will play a crucial role in making sure employees are paid correctly and on time, contributing to the overall financial well-being of the organization and supporting employee satisfaction.

 

Examples of the skills, knowledge, and experiences you need to lead and deliver value at this level include but are not limited to:

 

·        Lead teams executing payroll processing for countries served in the APAC region accurately, on-time, and at the highest quality following a defined payroll playbook

·        Act as primary escalation contacts for Business Process Outsourcing cycle management for the assigned countries

·        Validate payroll inputs, reconcile with outputs, and address errors or discrepancies

·        Lead communication and coordination between PwC team, client, and payroll service providers, escalating issues as necessary and identifying potential resolutions, and regularly reporting on status

·        Follow all applicable client and regulatory requirements for data protection and compliance

·        Support payroll activities outside the regular payroll cycle (e.g., off-cycle payments including bonuses, year-end activities, requirements for specific countries, etc.)

·        Identify and report any required playbook updates or corrections

·        Report any payroll process risks or deadline issues following escalation protocols

·        Ensure training materials are kept up-to-date, train team members, and act as backup as needed

·        Lead identification, design, and execution of continuous improvement activities

·        Apply a learning mindset and take ownership for your own development

Requirements

  • Minimum Degree Required (BQ): Bachelor Degree
  • Minimum Year(s) of Experience: 3-5 year(s)
  • Required Knowledge/Skills (BQ): Prior Payroll Operations experience, oral and written proficiency in English
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience using Microsoft suite of Office applications, fluency in one or more EMEA region languages
