JOB PURPOSE:

Responsible for Creating Test Plan by creation of testing plan, test strategy, test environment set-up, test execution, defect management. Leads the continuous improvement/ innovation and compliance to standards. This job provides technical support to the following Departments: Production, Maintenance, Marketing, Finance and Purchasing on matters relating to raw materials and finished product. Prepares program for sustainability and waste disposal appropriate to the guidelines of EMB

JOB SCOPE:

Manufacturing Support

 Conducts technical qualification on the incoming raw materials

 Conducts review on classification and disposal of raw materials and finished products.

 Conducts root-cause analysis and/or gap analysis on non-conforming products.

 Provides technical assistance to internal and as well as external customers.

 Facilitates the calibration of QA’s systems and methods.

 Provides support to the Process Engineer/Production Engineer and Operation Manager.

 Oversees the waste management storage areas. Assist in the ground maintenance and housekeeping of the plant

 Supervision of the Air Pollution Control Facilities. Schedules and coordinates operation and maintenance of Environmental Facilities

 Prepares, submits and presents weekly and monthly report

New Products

 Participates on product reviews and risk analysis.

 Participates in developing and documenting Quality Plan to support new products.

 Participates in developing tools and techniques to measure pertinent product parameters to assure product compliance to company and government standards.

Validation

 Participates in providing guidance to others in the generation of clear, concise and justifiable procedures and reports.

QUALITY, ENVIRONMENTAL AND OH&S RESPONSIBILITIES

 Conducts plant and warehouse visits to assess quality systems and do Safety Observations

 Supports and demonstrates ownership of health and safety in his/her own area of responsibility

 Ensure compliance with industry regulations, such as DOLE, EMB, DTI and other environmental and health standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• With at least three (3) years technical work experience in a manufacturing plant.
• Graduate of Chemical Engineer or related course
• A licensed Chemical Engineer
• Knowledgeable in UIPC Business Process Model, Production Processes,
• Products and Specifications, and Product Quality Standards
• Good customer service skills.
• Proficient in written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrates a degree in computer literacy especially in Microsoft Office
• applications.
• Receptive to learning new technologies to help improve productivity and
• profitability of the Polyurethane Line.
• Experienced in Environmental program activities is a plus factor
