Azure Data Engineer

We're looking for an experienced Azure Data Engineer to build and maintain modern data solutions using Microsoft Azure. If you're passionate about data, cloud technologies, and solving real-world problems, this is the role for you!

What You’ll Do

• Build Data Pipelines: Design and manage reliable ETL/ELT processes using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and other tools.
• Manage Data Storage: Work with Azure SQL, Data Lake, Cosmos DB, and other services to store and organize data.
• Handle Big Data: Process large datasets using Spark and Databricks to support analytics and machine learning.
• Monitor & Optimize: Ensure data pipelines run smoothly. Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and fine-tune systems for speed and cost-efficiency.
• Collaborate: Work with data scientists, analysts, and business teams to turn data into valuable insights.

What You’ll Bring

• 3+ years in a data engineering or similar role.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Azure SQL, Data Lake, and related Azure tools.
• Strong skills in SQL, Python, or similar.
• Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of data security, governance, and compliance (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
• Great problem-solving skills and a team-oriented mindset.
• Strong communication skills to work with technical and non-technical teams.

Preferred

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (advanced degree a plus).
