- Transport goods to designated locations in a timely manner.
- Inspect and maintain delivery vehicles to ensure safety.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently and safely.
- Verify deliveries against orders to ensure accuracy.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members.
- Maintain records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance.
Requirements
- Job Title: Delivery Driver
- Educational Qualifications: Education not required.
- Experience Level: Less than 1 year of experience preferred.
- Skills and Competencies: Responsible driving, strong driving skills, and a valid driver's license.
- Responsibilities and Duties: Safely deliver packages, maintain accurate delivery logs, and ensure timely arrivals.
- Working Conditions: Primarily on the road, varying weather conditions, and possible irregular hours.
- Qualities and Traits: Dependable, punctual, and good communication skills.
