About the Role: The role involves assessing project specifications to improve energy performance and collaborating with clients and consultants to meet sustainability standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess project specifications to improve energy performance and collaborate with clients and consultants to meet sustainability standards
• Support mechanical designers in developing strategies for LEED compliance
• Review mechanical design documents for alignment with LEED requirements
• Evaluate energy modeling and daylight analysis for LEED certification
• Prepare documentation for LEED credits using LEED Online for submission and review
• Manage multiple projects and coordinate tasks with internal team members
• Draft meeting minutes, project updates, and status reports
• Contribute to project deliverables, including technical reports, document reviews, on-site training, and progress reports
• Participate in weekly (or as needed) coordination meetings via video or conference call
• Perform other duties as may be assigned by Barone International

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit (preferably 2009 or 2010), and Microsoft Office Suite
• Passionate about designing environmentally responsible projects
• Eagerness to learn and apply sustainable design principles
• Experience coordinating with contractors and project teams
• Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills
• 5–10 years of relevant experience preferred
• Available to join the team immediately

Required Skills:

• Solid understanding of the LEED certification process
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects effectively and meet deadlines

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with energy modeling software
• Working knowledge of sustainability standards and best practices
