Description
- Responsible for reviewing medical records and coding diagnoses and procedures.
- Ensure accurate and timely billing and reimbursement for healthcare services.
- Stay updated on coding guidelines, regulations, and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to resolve coding discrepancies.
- Utilize coding software and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
Requirements
- Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, Medical Coding, or related field.
- Experience Level: 2 - 3 years of experience in medical coding.
- Skills and Competencies: Proficiency in ED and EM Coding, Inpatient and Outpatient Coding, IP DRG Coding.
- Responsibilities and Duties: Accurately code medical records, ensure coding compliance, and maintain documentation standards.
- Working Conditions: Office environment with a focus on detail-oriented tasks.
- Qualities and Traits: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
