About the Role

We are launching our Copilot Agent services at Empathy Technologies and are looking for a Copilot Agent Developer to join our innovation team. You’ll be the driving force behind building intelligent, task-driven AI agents that don’t just talk—they act.

If you love automating workflows, understand the Power Platform, and can build low-code bots that make work actually easier—this role is for you.

What Are Copilot Agents?

In short: AI Agents built using Microsoft Copilot Studio that perform real actions based on user prompts.

They connect to Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Excel, Dataverse, Outlook, Teams, and can trigger flows, summarize internal data, update CRMs, or even schedule meetings.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Collaborate with our team to define use cases for Copilot Agents
• Design and build agents using Copilot Studio, integrated with:
• Power Automate (for backend logic)
• Microsoft Graph API
• SharePoint / Excel / Dataverse / 3rd-party APIs
• Implement actions, triggers, and plugins to perform tasks like:
• Automating HR requests
• Sales CRM updates
• Employee onboarding workflows
• Optimize and monitor agent performance using analytics
• Work closely with designers to deliver brochures, guides, and sales assets
• Be part of client calls to explain agent capabilities

You Must Know

• Copilot Studio – Experience building bots with conversational flows.
• Power Automate – Ability to design backend workflows using connectors, conditions, and logic.
• Microsoft Graph API – Understanding how to access and utilize data from Outlook, Teams, Calendar, etc.
• SharePoint / Dataverse / Excel – Familiarity with integrating and retrieving business data from these sources.
• Azure OpenAI (Bonus) – Experience using GPT for summarization or generating smart responses.
• APIs – Comfortable integrating with REST APIs when needed.
• Prompt Design – Ability to write clear, effective prompts to guide AI behavior and improve outcomes.

Bonus Skills (Not Mandatory but Nice to Have)

• Built or deployed bots in Teams, Power Apps, or websites
• Previous Power Platform certification
• Client-facing communication experience
• Familiarity with licensing models and M365 governance
