Enforcing workplace safety procedures and policies that affect health and safety of employees on-site.
Assessing current health and safety policies at the workplace and suggesting improvements.
Conducts regular safety training including fire drills, earthquake drills, and others amongst D’new HBDC employees.
Provide basic first aid treatment or assist in emergency situations until professional medical help arrives.
Conducts regular safety training and emergency drills and ensure that employees are familiar with evacuation procedures.
Provide the required safety reports by DOLE and by the D’new HBDC.
Inspect job sites or workplaces and observe potential safety/health hazards, including the potential hazards of confined spaces and develop a plan for safeguarding the company’s workers.
Conducting regular staff meetings to share best practice techniques.
Responsible to give strict disciplinary action for any failure to obey or observe safety rules and procedures. He/She must coordinate with the HR Head for imposing disciplinary actions.
Responsible for keeping records for all training sessions with descriptions of topics covered and names of workers trained and all disciplinary records. A copy of these records must be sent to the Human Resource Head.
Performs other duties as may be assigned by superiors.

Education/Experience: Graduate of any business courses
At least 2 years’ experience, has a training certification in safety and health programs
Communication Skills: Above average communication skills
Personal Attributes: Independent, initiative and with affective interpersonal skills
Computer Skills:Proficient in computer application
