About Jardine Service Centre Philippines (JSC)


Jardine Service Centre Philippines is an organization fully owned by Jardine Matheson Group which is a diversified Asian-based group with unsurpassed experience in the region, having been founded in 1832. JSC is responsible for providing back-office support to the business units of Jardine Group by administrating transactional and rule-based activities. We aim to deliver world-class services to our internal customers in a cost-efficient manner via process harmonization, application of state-of-the-art technologies, automation and process simplification.


As part of our Jardine Service Centre services, we are looking at establishing application support teams for a number of our target systems such as Microsoft Dynamics D365, Tagetik, ServiceNow, Workday, Peoplesoft, Salesforce and Mulesoft. Our aim is to provide better support, enhancements and to take advantage of the SaaS product roadmaps and upgrades. We are looking for someone to structure and plan this exciting plan.


Responsibilities

  • Participates in the design, development, configuration, and maintenance of the ServiceNow components such as Service Catalog, Service Portal, ITSM modules, Asset Management, CMDB, Discovery, Release Management, Discovery, Event Management, Integration, HRSD and ServiceNow platform upgrade.
  • Contribute to full life-cycle application development/configuration including user requirements, specifications, design, application configuration, API service design, web services development, testing, documentation, etc.
  • Prepare detailed specifications and documentation from which programs will be configured, written, designed, coded, tested, and debugged.
  • Lead discussions on assigned projects or efforts with users and develop business relationships and integrate activities with other Business Units to ensure successful implementation.
  • May lead small projects or regularly mentor other team members follow coding standards or best practices aligning with ServiceNow architectural standards. Conduct code reviews.
  • Research, designs, plans, and drives implementations of new ServiceNow solutions and enterprise technologies.
  • Works with Project Managers and Business Analysts to produce project delivery estimates and manage the transition from analysis through to design and delivery.
  • Mentor junior developers share knowledge and guide through standards and best practices.
  • Monitor and report to management on the status of project efforts, anticipating/identifying issues that inhibit the attainment of project goals and implementing corrective actions.
  • Administration, Installation, and support of ServiceNow suite of products.
  • Production and Non-Production Support including Identification, diagnosis, and remediation or escalation of operational issues.
  • Required to perform duties outside of normal work hours based on business needs.
  • Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time.


Qualifications

  • More than five (5) years of experience in designing and implementing business applications using Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) to provide concrete reusable service.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Candidates with active and current ServiceNow Certifications are preferred.
  • Having hands-on experience in application integration using ServiceNow technologies including REST, SOAP, FTP
  • Having hands-on experience in ServiceNow Discovery, CMDB, Flow Designer, Event Management, Integration and ServiceNow platform upgrade.
  • Experience developing workflows, Business Rules, ACLS, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, Date Policies, UI Actions, and table extension in ServiceNow.
  • Proficient using SOAPUI or other tools to test SOAP/REST Web Service APIs
  • Strong working knowledge of enterprise integration architecture and enterprise application
  • Strong experience in understanding of issues around integration with large volumes of data, real-time ynchronous and asynchronous integration.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Extensive knowledge and experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Has continuous improvement mindset, comfortable in challenging status quo and demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced and changing environment.
  • Excellent client relationship building, collaboration and engagement skills, has strong sense of customer service, integrity, accountability, and responsibility.
