We are hiring on behalf of a leading pharmaceutical company based in Makati. They are currently seeking a Tax Specialist who can ensure full compliance with tax laws and regulations, lead tax-related functions, and contribute to the company’s overall financial accuracy and health.

As a Tax Specialist, you will play a key role in managing and overseeing the organization’s tax compliance and planning. Responsibilities include:

• Preparing and filing accurate tax returns in a timely manner
• Advising leadership on tax strategies, planning opportunities, and risk mitigation
• Identifying potential tax exposures before the issuance of LOA, PAN, FAN/FLD from the BIR
• Managing and coordinating tax audits and communications with regulatory authorities
• Ensuring compliance with SEC filing requirements (GIS & AFS)
• Handling local government compliance, particularly for the processing and payment of Annual Business Permits

Qualifications:

• Must hold a Professional License – CPA and/or Lawyer preferred
• Strong understanding of Philippine tax laws and regulatory requirements
• Experience in managing end-to-end tax compliance processes
• Familiar with SEC and LGU compliance
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of ERP systems such as Oracle or Helix is an advantage
• Proven experience in leading and managing a small Tax Team
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
