Key Responsibilities:

• Vehicle Operation:
• Operate heavy-duty trucks and trailers safely and responsibly for transporting various goods or materials.
• Ensure vehicles are properly maintained and in good working order, conducting regular inspections and basic maintenance as needed.
• Loading and Unloading:
• Safely load and unload cargo, ensuring it is securely fastened to prevent movement during transit.
• Confirm that loads comply with weight limits and adhere to safety guidelines.
• Route Planning and Navigation:
• Plan and follow efficient routes to meet delivery schedules, adjusting based on traffic and road conditions as needed.
• Use GPS devices and maps to navigate routes effectively and accurately.
• Compliance and Safety:
• Follow all safety guidelines, road regulations, and company policies for heavy-duty driving.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any mechanical issues to the maintenance team.
• Record-Keeping:
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, fuel records, mileage reports, and any required documentation.
• Keep track of maintenance records and report any incidents promptly.
