OB PURPOSE:

• Secure necessary booking schedule of cargo loading to the carrier (JGC for Airfreight, Sea freight, Land trip) and monitor its journey and provide timely cargo update either to the client, account handler, branch/station.

JOB SCOPE:

• Perform cargo booking either via air through partner JGCF, sea, and/or landtrip for all cargo accepted by branches: Divisoria, Baclaran, Pasay.
• Check all available and suitable cargo loading schedules from the carrier.
• Provide a cargo loading schedule to the Immediate Superior for booking approval.
• Ensure documents needed for loading to the carrier are complete, like HAWB, TRM, & Confirmed Booking Request.
• Monitoring the journey of cargos loaded clients, and/or account handlers on the status of accepted cargo to the carrier.
• Assist inquiries of prospective customers and provide the services offered.
• Making of an incident report for any irregularities witnessed, like suspicious cargo, damaged cargo, and other work-related incidents.
• Responsible for maintaining orderliness and cleanliness of the area and equipment after every operation.
• Performs other related duties incidental to the work described herein or as may be deemed necessary by the immediate superior.

• Graduate of any vocational course or at least College level.
• Preferably with experience in field of cargo logistics, warehousing or equivalent.
