Role Overview

• As an Accounting Supervisor, you will oversee daily accounting operations, ensure timely month-end close processes, and support the preparation of financial statements. You will be responsible for supervising a team of accountants, mentoring junior staff, and collaborating with other departments to streamline financial processes and improve overall efficiency.

What You’ll Do

• Supervise and review daily accounting functions including AP, AR, general ledger, and bank reconciliations
• Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and relevant internal controls
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial audits
• Monitor and analyze accounting data, identifying areas for improvement
• Provide leadership, coaching, and professional development for accounting staff
• Coordinate with external auditors and support audit requirements
• Implement process improvements and accounting best practices

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, advantage if you have 2+ years in a supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP) and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
• Strong leadership and team management abilities
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively across all levels
• Experience with financial audits and budgeting processes is a plus
